Keeshawn played high school basketball at Thornlea Secondary School in Markham, Ontario. In 2018, Keeshawn represented and helped Team Canada in the U17 FIBA World Cup, finishing 4th place. After redshirting his freshman year, Keeshawn had two successful seasons with the Colorado Buffaloes, in which he started 28 of 33 games. Keeshawn has committed to the Oregon Ducks for the 2022-23 season.
